The Workshop


 

Some people believe that success is beyond their control, while others feel that trying something new is exciting and fun. Wise Wishes will empower the former and fulfill the expectations of the latter.

Whether you are a a teen blossoming into adulthood, in the middle of your career and family life, or into retirement and your senior years, come, be a part of Wise Wishes as we learn and reaffirm what it takes to live wisely and well. We will explore the use and value of personal tools such as setting limits, guidance, fostering communication and encouraging responsibility. These tools can help you change and grow in ways that really matter, like discovering greater confidence, self-esteem, and wellbeing, and developing a greater awareness of what is truly important to you.

I encourage you to join us to develop your own personal sense of meaning and wellbeing. The Wise Wishes Workshop is non-judgmental and supportive, providing a framework where strong emphasis is placed on interactive and solution-focused approaches to your life.

I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a friend. I am also a therapist who regularly counsels with men. My reason for creating the Wise Wishes Workshop is the hope that you will find support for your journey to self-realization. The society that we live in cries out for leadership and good leaders are those that have realized their own self-worth.

Women are the natural caretakers in our society. We are frequently cast in that role to the exclusion of our own self-care. Men are frequently cast in the role of provider and protector to the exclusion of their own self-care. Use this workshop as your time to realize your needs and strengths so that you can return to you lives empowered.

As an expert with 16 years of experience in motivational development, I'm familiar with the studies that show that therapy is most effective in long-term doses; 75% of clients show marked improvement after 26 one-hour sessions, 85% after 52 sessions. We will spend 38 hours helping you to explore your motivations and feelings, at a fraction of the cost of individual therapy. Find deeper meaning, direction, purpose and value in yourself and your life. Face problems and challenges without reverting to old patterns laden with anxiety and depression.

I have had success treating clients who suffer from a variety of ills -- physical, mental, and emotional -- with mind-body healing techniques. I have found that self-esteem is central to good mental and physical health, while self-dislike diminishes health and performance. Self-esteem cannot be injected, it must be learned and practiced. It is such a critical concept that I have developed the Wise Wishes Workshop to focus on just that: your value as a person of worth. Find the wisdom within and make your Wise Wishes come true.


If an individual wants his or her dreams to come true, s/he must wake up to them.
